Marvel’s Midnight Suns is a new tactical RPG from 2K and Marvel Entertainment.
Set in a darker side of the Marvel Universe, players face up against supernatural forces among the Midnight Suns, Earth’s last line of defence against the underworld.
In this world, Hydra revives an ancient evil in Lilith through the combined power of magic and science. Lilith in turn is hell-bent on calling forth her boss, Chthon, and things look nasty. In desperation, Avengers sought to fight fire with fire through the help of the Midnight Suns: Nico Minoru, Blade, Magik, and Ghost Rider; heroes with supernatural powers who were gathered with the sole purpose of stopping Lilith. They, in turn, resurrect an ancient warrior named the Hunter, the first customisable original hero in the Marvel Universe and Lilith’s forsaken child. Also, conveniently the only hero who is known to have handed her an L.
Midnight Suns will also feature a classic lineup of familiar heroes from the rosters of The Avengers, X-Men, Runaways and more.
Midnight Suns is developed by Firaxis Games, which is famously known for the excellent Civilization and XCOM franchises, so there’s a good chance that this game will be a belter as well. You can tune in to www.midnightsuns.com at 2:30 a.m. on Thursday, September 2 to find out more about the new customisable tactical battle system and game mechanics.
Scheduled for launch in March 2022, and will be available on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox X/S, Switch, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store.
