Singapore makes its mark at Game Awards 2022 as Geek Culture announced that they are now part of the prestigious awards this year, which celebrates the best video games the industry has to offer.
Geek Culture has been invited as a jury member and is the only Singaporean media to be part of the gaming world’s equivalent of the Oscars this year.
“We started as a fledgling games and entertainment media, and are humbled by this invitation from Games Awards’ producer Geoff Keighley to be a part of this industry-leading awards show,” said Mr Lim Yeong Chun, co-founder of Geek Culture.
“Geek Culture has worked with all leading games publishers and developers since its inception and the support we’ve received as a jury member has been a rewarding recognition of our contribution to the video game landscape.”
We heartily congratulate Geek Culture for being an integral part of one of the most highly-anticipated gaming events of the year. This also means that their vote will go some way in deciding the winner between the two clear–and popular–favourites for Game of the Year – Elden Ring and God of War: Ragnarok. No pressure there, guys.
