The new PRISM+ Q Series PRO Android TVs are all about value. It’s perfectly in line with the company’s philosophy of offering only the essentials and this time around they have upgraded displays for 55″, 65″ and 86″ models.
Typically, pricier models would come with more features but in true Prism+ fashion, the company has specced the TVs with only the essentials. To my mind, it is basically a single model – rather than a series – but it comes in three sizes.
Hence, aside from the display size, the three offerings are quite similar, specs-wise, and share the same set of features for the most part, such as the number of ports (2x HDMI 2.0, HDMI 1.4, 2x USB 2.0, RF in, SPDIF out, AV in and ethernet) and the same pair of 10W speakers.
All three models are certified for Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos, which is effectively a guarantee for a high standard of quality for visuals and sound. The headline feature is what they call Quantum Colour Backlight technology, which is a step up over previous offerings in terms of colour gamut and vibrancy.
The 86″ Q86-QE PRO is now the largest model that the company offers, and is priced at only $2,999. Obviously, compared to other TVs of the same size, it will have far less features, but it’s actually fine if your priority is screen size.
Other upgrades include a far-field voice control that lets you activate Google Assistant vocally from across the room. There’s also a physical switch to turn off the feature as well.
In addition, the three-year warranty with 24/7 support offers fairly comprehensive coverage for an already wallet-friendly investment.
In addition, the Q Series PRO Android TVs will also come preloaded with free content from MeWatch (1-year free subscription), Viu (free 3-month subscription; 1 year if you purchase the TV through Viu on Lazada) and iQiyi (pending confirmation).
The Q Series Pro 55″ retails at $999, the Q Series Pro 65 at $1199 and the Q Series Pro 86 goes for $2,999. All are available at the Prism+ online store and their official Lazada store .
