The Huawei Band 6 will launch here on 15 April. Band 6 is Huawei’s entry-level fitness tracker, but it’s packed with plenty of features nonetheless.

Most importantly, there’s a reasonably-sized 1.47″ AMOLED FullView touchscreen display (194×368 resolution) that’s large enough to display useful information with clarity.

The battery life is not to be scoffed at as well; we’re looking at between ten days to two weeks’ use on a single charge, even with continuous heart rate and sleep monitoring enabled, thanks to a combination of a high-density battery, high-efficiency chip and power-saving algorithms. It also supports fast charging via a magnetic charger, and Huawei says that five minutes of charging will get you around two days of use. And the watch weighs only 18 grams.

Despite its budget leanings, Band 6 seems quite thorough with its feature set. It also supports all-day blood oxygen level monitoring and 96 workout modes, including indoor and outdoor running, cycling, rope skipping and dancing. Band 6 uses the Huawei TruSport algorithm to provide analysis of your exercise data while taking your vital readings into account.
