LG’s PuriCare 360 receives an upgrade and now features an assortment of filters for improved air purification.
Designed for even coverage and to eliminate blind spots, the unique cylindrical, 360-degree air filtration system rotates and sends filtered air through the top and as far as 7.5 meters within a space of roughly 10 metres squared.
On top of that, it has two filters – Deodorization Filter and a new Safe Plus Filter (HEPA) for a more comprehensive clean. LG says the Safe Plus Filter is 99.9 per cent anti-bacterial and anti-viral and removes 99.999 per cent of ultra-fine dust particles as small as 0.01 micrometres and allergens. The Deodorization Filter is responsible for removing harmful gases lurking in the air.
The PuriCare also utilises an ioniser to remove harmful airborne viruses and bacteria by creating ion clusters around them, converting them into water.
PuriCare 360 can be controlled remotely via LG ThinQ, which allows you to change device settings, monitor air quality or receive status updates and alerts. The device has a smart sensor onboard that can detect fine particles smaller than a micrometre in diameter, and can check the air quality in real-time to ensure that the filters are performing as instructed.
The LG PuriCare 360° Air Purifier with Safe Plus Filter is available in two configurations. The single tower ($899) has a clean air delivery rate (CADR) of 490m3/hr and a coverage area of 62.8m2 while the double tower ($1,499) has a CADR of 779m3/hr and a coverage area of 100m2. Both are available at official LG Lazada , LG Shopee and across all authorised retailers (Best Denki, COURTS, Harvey Norman, Mega Discount and KrisShop).
