No 5G no problem: Xiaomi offers yet another midrange option in a particularly competitive space.

The 4G variant of the Mi 11 Lite has been confirmed to go on sale in Singapore on April 6.

Unfortunately, there is no mention of the 5G version, which is the first smartphone in the world to pack the Qualcomm Snapdragon 780G chipset, and Xiaomi’s cheapest 5G offering. However, the 4G isn’t too bad either, sporting an 8nm Snapdragon 732G chipset.

Display-wise, it packs a 6.55”, FullHD+ resolution AMOLED DotDisplay with 10-bit TrueColor (1.07 billion colours) support and a 90Hz refresh rate (240Hz touch sampling).

Lite is not only a reference to its stripped-down specs, it’s also indicative of its form factor. The phone measures 6.81mm thin and weighs 157g. Camera-wise, you get a 64MP main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide and a 5MP macro, and the camera module sits flush with the case too. Despite the featherweight design, the phone is equipped with a respectably-sized 4,250mAh battery that supports 33W fast-charging.

Starting April 6, Mi 11 Lite will be available at Xiaomi official store on Lazada , Shopee and offline at Authorised Mi Stores and official retailers. Priced at $429, only the 8GB+128GB variant is available but you do have a choice of three colours: Boba Black, Bubblegum Blue and Peach Pink. While stocks last, customers who purchase a Mi 11 Lite at Xiaomi Singapore’s Authorized Mi Stores and other official retailers will get a Mi Smart Band 5 worth $59 (first-come-first-served, while-stocks-last).
